 Scott Hamilton

Name: Scott Hamilton

Born: 12 Sep 1954
Origin: Providence, Rhode Island, United States

Scott Hamilton started playing the clarinet and the piano as a child. He also played blues harmonica in a rock 'n' roll band for a brief while. He taught himself to play the tenor saxophone by listening to his father's records. Hamilton received raptuous applause from his audiences. He teamed up with Warren Vache to work around the New York area. By the late 1970's, Scott Hamilton was appearing with leading jazzmen and performed at major festivals in the USA and abroad.
