Abolish Toe Nail Fungus

what is this black thing under my toenail? worried..?

I just took off my nail polish and saw this black spot. I don’t remember bumping my foot on anything..so idk where the heck it came from. I read that it could be 1-melanoma, but that said it’s usually a streak, or 2-fungus, which idk HOW that could be possible because i am super ocd about being clean. unless it’s maybe a broken blood vessel or something? should i go to a dr? i uploaded a pic.

I don’t think it’s Melanoma. Typically, those appear over time. From a fellow OCD neat ‘freak’, I can tell you that you probably would’ve noticed it before now.

It could be fungus, but again, they don’t appear as dark as your picture was overnight.

Chances are it’s just a bruise under the nail. Keep an eye on it for a few days, and if it’s not gone (or if it gets worse), you can always go to the doctor and see what he/she thinks.
