Customer Reviews

Not Peggy Lee at her best - for completests only! Rating: 1.0

This album does not do justice to the sultry, sexy Peggy Lee voice.
A mixture of live recordings the re-mastered sound is often muddy.
Few of the classics are here and there are too many badly chosen modern songs - I'm not in love" and "The Hungry Years" to name two.
This is sadly highlighted when she lets rip in the blues medley and gives us what we want to hear.
This one is for Peggy Lee completests only!

Sultry, Sexy, Sassy - Superb! Rating: 5.0

A fantastic album by a singer who can only be described as "an icon". Peggy Lee has something about her which is magnetic, it pulls you in and you cannot escape her spellbinding voice and the allure of the dynamic lyrics which captivate the imagination and the heart of every listener. If this music does not stir your soul nothing will. "Why dont you do right" gets under your skin and touches every nerve in your body, whilst the never aging "Fever" can send chills running down your spine. Buy it NOW - its a timeless classic!!
